In 2016, the Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce has identified several opportunities to add more value to our members in 2016.

Those opportunities are:

  • Enhancing Government Affairs Committee to Start Supporting Pro-Business Legislation
  • Reaching Out to Manufacturing Businesses to See How We Can Better Serve Them
  • Surveying Our Members to Identify Opportunities for Improvement

Our Ambassador Chair – Marcia Foster McBean

In future Chairman’s Messages we plan to feature an Ambassador of the Month. This month we want to introduce you to our Ambassador Chair, Marcia Foster McBean.

Marcia Foster McBean started her career in banking where she worked for a Canadian Bank known as Bank of Nova Scotia Ja., Limited for 17 years. She held several positions during her tenure and successfully moved up to the position of Branch Manager before resigning to emigrate from Jamaica to the USA in 2007. She currently works as a Business Development/Commercial Loan Officer at Chino Commercial Bank where she specializes in underwriting loans for business owners who need to realize their financial goals.

Marcia’s career in Banking does not prevent her from pursuing her passion to serve the community and so she spends her time volunteering and supporting various organizations. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce, she serves as the Ambassador Chair and she is a member of the Membership Committee. She is a member of Rancho Del Chino Rotary and serves on the Board of Directors for the Rancho Del Chino Rotary Foundation. Marcia also serves on the Executive Board as Recording Secretary for the Jamaica Awareness Association of Jamaica, a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of the health and education system in Jamaica and providing assistance to families in under-served communities in Southern California.

Some of the committees within the organizations that she serves include CVCC Business Expo 2015, JAAC Annual Fundraising Brunch and Banquet. In 2015 she volunteered with the 2015 Special Olympics Host Town program, The Chino Hills Foundation 5th Annual Spring Home Tour, The Salvation Army Thanksgiving Dinner and Rancho Del Chino Rotary Christmas Basket Give-a-way. She is an active member of Christian Business Partners Chino Hills Son Rising Chapter. She supports Chino Relay for Life and Corona Life Services Annual 5K.
