Taste of the Chino Valley

Our Taste of the Chino Valley is coming up on April 4 and it looks like it’s going to be a fantastic event.

Salute to Public Safety

The Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce together with the City of Chino Hills, the City of Chino, the Chino Valley Medical Center, Waste Management and Los Serranos Country Club organized our Salute to Public Safety honoring the men and women of our Fire, Police, and Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, March 2 at Los Serranos Country Club in Chino Hills, CA.

We were honored to have Keynote Speaker, Jarrod Burguan, San Bernardino Police Chief share his experience of the terrorist attack in San Bernardino on Dec. 2. San Bernardino Police Chief Jarrod Burguan was commended for his steady professionalism and his handling of the events resulting in 36 shooting victims, 14 dead and 22 injured.

The honorees of our Salute to Public Safety were:

  • Chino Hills Police Department Deputy of the Year – Maria Colombi
  • Chino Hills Police Department Professional Staff Employee of the Year – Office Specialist Annette Villa
  • Chino Police Department Officer of the Year – Corporal Jonathan Monroe
  • Chino Police Department Civilian of the Year – Michelle Ogilby
  • Chino Valley Independent Fire District Firefighter of the Year – Jonathan Cripe, Engineer
  • Chino Valley Fire District Employee of the Year – Lena Lin, Fire Inspector

Ambassador of the Month

Michel Agee

Michel Agee joined the Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce in 1985 and has been active ever since. She originally joined the Chamber with her husband as Ramara Associates and has been involved in nearly every committee the chamber has at one point or another.

She’s now representing the Rancho Del Chino Rotary and the Chino Youth Boxing Club. As a long standing and active chamber member for more than 30 years, it’s our honor to award Michel Agee as our Ambassador of the Month.
