The Chamber is growing, and we’ve set an ambitious goal of reaching 400 members this year, and we’re going to need your help. Obviously, members join the Chamber to benefit their business. So we’re really focused on expanding the benefits that we offer members, providing great value for your membership investment, and helping the Chino Valley to thrive and grow.
We’ve found that Chamber members love doing business with other members. The more new businesses we can bring in, the wider range of networking options everyone will have available. We refer a lot of business to our members, and provide great opportunities to raise the visibility and awareness of your business.
This year, we are adding a leadership academy to our Chamber programs. We want to help business owners, managers, department heads – anyone who has a challenging role managing people and projects and wants to grow professionally. Just like we see the Chamber as a leader in the business industry, we see our members as leaders in their fields, and want to help everyone reach their highest potential.
So if you believe in what the Chamber is doing, help us spread the word. For every new member that joins during 2017, we will provide a referral bonus to whoever brought them in. This will be a credit to your account that can be used toward your next renewal or Chamber event. Full details of the program are available at the Chamber.
While we are looking for more new members, that doesn’t mean we don’t appreciate those who have joined already. Any new members that have joined since 2016 are invited to take part in our new member mixer on February 16, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm (location pending). We invite the new members to set up a table, and introduce themselves and their business to all attendees. We look forward to pairing long-term members with new business partners.
We will also be holding several sessions a year on making the most of your Chamber benefits. Did you know you can send four free eblasts a year to our list of more than 2,000 members of the local business community? That you can offer special incentives to other Chamber members to do business with you? That you can set up your own mini-site on the Chamber website, complete with links, referrals and analytics? The Chamber has a lot to offer our members, and our goal is to help you realize the full value of your membership.
There is a lot more to say – we have the Salute to Public Safety coming up, as well as the 20th anniversary of the Taste of the Chino Valley. Business at Breakfast is off to a great start at its new Chino Hills location. It’s a busy time at the Chamber, and a great time to join if you haven’t already. We look forward to working with you all in 2017, and beyond.
