Hot Deals, Business Expo, Workforce Development and More

President’s Report #10

It’s been a crazy start to the Chamber year as we’ve begun tackling some major new initiatives:

  • Hot Deal Program
  • Workforce Development Program

while also putting on some fantastic events:

  • Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce Business Expo
  • Chino Hills State of the City
  • Chess Not Checkers

Hot Deal Program

Our first email went out about our Hot Deal Program last week and we’ll be sharing our Hot Deals through our emails and sending these emails to large companies in town.

The purpose of our Hot Deal program is to raise awareness to the businesses who take advantage of creating Hot Deals through our Chamber member software, provide value for our members and community and encourage businesses to do business locally.

Check out the Hot Deal email we sent last week. If you’re a member, this is a great way to promote your business to our members, community and large employee organizations based in the Chino Valley.

Workforce Development Program

Now that our Hot Deal Program is in full swing, our next initiative is to develop a strong workforce development program here locally by connecting employers with employees.

Many companies are not aware of the resources available to them when it comes to hiring new employees. Our goal with the program is to be a resource for these organizations so that when they do have hiring needs in the Chino Valley we can be the one stop shop for all resources connected to employment in the Chino Valley.

Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce Business Expo

Our 2019 Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce was a huge success this year. We surveyed all attendees and businesses that participated in the event and received overwhelmingly positive responses.

We have tons of personal anecdotes from businesses who transacted a lot of business that day. We were excited to connect so many businesses with each other and our community.

Thank you to everyone who supported the 2019 Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce Business Expo by attending, exhibiting, sponsoring, donating or volunteering.

Chino Hills State of the City

The Chino Hills State of the City went off extremely well. The Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce worked in collaboration with the City of Chino Hills to put on the event.

Chess Not Checkers

In August, we collaborated with Chino Mayor Eunice Ulloa and Chino Hills Mayor Cynthia Moran on a Chess Not Checkers event for elected officials across the Inland Empire. The event was sold out and we had some great takeaways to bring back to our community.

Thank you to Mayor Ulloa and Mayor Moran for working with us to host this wonderful event to help build a stronger community.

As always, we’ve had some great Business @ Breakfast events, Mixers, Grand Openings, Ribbon Cuttings, Ambassador Meetings and lots, lots more. Take a look at all we’ve been up to the past few months by checking us out on Facebook – https://www.facebook.com/ChinoValleyChamberOfCommerce/
