The City of Chino is a community rich in culture and diversity. Incorporated as a city in 1910, Chino was once known as an agricultural community, with deep roots in the sugar beet and dairy industries. Today, Chino benefits from well-established residential and commercial areas, beautiful neighborhoods, irresistible hometown charm, and a well-rounded business mix.

Chino encompasses nearly 30 square miles and in addition to a well-balanced city, residents and visitors enjoy 28 parks spanning nearly 234 acres varying in size and amenities including sports fields, picnic and BBQ areas, walking paths, playgrounds, and so much more.

Known for community events and celebrations, Chino offers year-round family fun to over 80,000 residents; some of the most popular events include the Chino Farmers Market, the Chino Fireworks Spectacular, Bark Around Ayala Park, Halloween Spooktacular, and the Chino Youth Christmas Parade and Fair. It is due, in part, to the numerous events, programs, and services the City offers that Chino is a proud five-time recipient of the prestigious “100 Best Communities for Young People” award. National recognition of this magnitude would not be possible without the generous support of the City’s numerous Community Partners, who share the City’s long-term vision for Chino, its residents, and business community.
